A Christmas Miracle

One small step for mankind, one giant step for Emily. 

I followed Emily around all day and finally caught it on video. Sorry for the sideways video, not sure how to rotate it. 

Christmas 2014

To the delight of the girls, especially Ellie,  Santa visited our house last night and brought lots of presents. Ellie left some cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and the reindeers. 

Ellie's letter to santa read: 

Dear Santa, 
I love you. I hope you bring me lots of presents. I tried to be a really good listener. Love Ellie.

Christmas Morning: 
Emily woke at 5:50am, Ellie woke at 6:25 am. Presents were open by 6:35 am. 

Merry Christmas everyone, thank you all for the special gifts. Tomorrow we make our way to Indiana! Any volunteers to sit with this little lady on the plane? Besides the double nostril snots, she is also teething......anyone, anyone.......

Happy Chanukah

We are 5 days into Chanukah and the girls have enjoyed lighting the Menorah, learning about the Maccabees, and opening presents. Happy Chanukah everyone. Here are some pictures.

Our Russian neighbor is a baker and he brought us a ginger bread house to decorate. The girls did a great job putting on icing and candy. For reasons I can't explain it was not edible though........so I just have to stare at it.

This weekend we put up our Christmas tree. 

We also had our basement repainted and we replaced the rug.

Emily turned 11 months

Knowledge Beginings PreK Winter Gala Event

Ellie and her PreK class gave a winter show this week. Over 15 minutes they performed a handful of songs. They had been practicing for the past few weeks. Ellie did a great job, we were very proud of her. 

Afterwards they celebrated with a cookie snack and juice snack. 

More Birthday!

Ellie officially turned 4 today. We are so proud of her. We opened family gifts today, thank you all for the gifts.
