Water!

Over the weekend we went hiking and came across a rare sight here in the OC, a natural lake (Barbara's Lake) that was filled with water! Apparently it is the only natural lake in Orange County.

Losing a tooth, starting Kindergarten, playing soccer, ditching the training wheels, reading - so many milestones this year. 

Can't believe Ellis is 6 now!

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts. We were up Saturday morning at the crack of dawn to open them.

A Week at GJ and Bobpa's over Thanksgiving practicing on a balance bike did wonders for Ellie. We got home from Phoenix, promptly took off E's training wheels, and away she went! 

Thanksgiving 2016

Spent a week in Phoenix for Thanksgiving. Great to see everyone. 
A 5K turkey trot, shopping, visit to the aquarium, Great Grandma's Birthday, playing with cousins, plus Thanksgiving made it a fun week.

Jamie was brave enough to fly out to the OC and drive to Phoenix with the girls. Here they load up on coffee in Indio.

Trip to the PHX Aquarium 

Thanksgiving morning we participated in a 5K run / walk. Ellie did great and we probably ran a couple miles off/on together.
