September Updates

 

Labor Day has come and gone and we are well under way with school - 6 weeks in to be exact. Fall Softball has started, Ellie started phase II of her braces, and Darcy went to MN for a quick girls trip, 

 

Neighborhood car pool - although now they take the school bus home in the afternoons!! (Ellie comes home every day ; Emily MWF and T and TH goes to Zigg). 

 

After a 6 month break Ellie is back in braces and gets the bottom brackets later this week.

Darcy spent a long weekend on a lake in MN with friends 

Softball has started up for both girls 

 

Ellie is constantly doing cartwheels and handstands in the house  and has taken to watching her ipad while doing a handstand.....

 

Over Labor day weekend we spent a day and night in the RB with cousins. The girls enjoyed their pool. 

Hard to believe Oct. is just around the corner.

 

Legoland

A little late on this post but back on Aug. 21st Darcy and I surprised the girls with one more adventure for the summer. We told the girls to pack their bag for an overnight trip. They were very excited and surprised. Ellie literally exclaimed, "that was sooooo unexpected".

We didn't tell them where we were headed until we arrived at our destination - Legoland - or that we were staying at the Legoland Castle Hotel.  We spent Saturday late afternoon through Sunday afternoon at the park. It was a little cloudy and drizzly which kept the crowds and the heat down. 

The girls really enjoyed it although I think Ellie is just about ready to outgrow it and move on to some bigger and faster roller coaster rides.

 

 

The girls enjoyed our accomodations at the Castle Hotel. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday we visited the water park section of Legoland

Saturday evening we went to the LegoLand aquarium.

 

Sunday we rode the rides in the main park
