Take Me Out To the Ballgame!

Saturday night we went to see the Angles vs Red Sox baseball game (our first family MLB experience). The girls were a little squirmy  especially between the 5 - 8 innings but all in all did fairly well. A steady diet of hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, cotton candy ( and beers for the parents) helped. 

We stayed through the whole game and were able to see the Saturday night fireworks show that followed the game. The Angles won 7 to 3. 

Happy Birthday!

Friday we celebrated Darcy's birthday. She had the day off so we were able to enjoy a nice lunch at the Kickin' Crab while the kids were at daycare. Later that evening we celebrated with cake. 

Tooth Update!

Quick update on Ellie's teeth - the second top front tooth fell out today which is good because it was looking really rough in there. A peanut butter sandwich with extra peanut butter did the trick this time.

Gymnastics Update

I took Em to gymnastics today and the teacher/coach said that Em was ready to move-up to the next level! 

July 4th Weekend

We kept a low profile over the 4th weekend with no real plans. Outings to the park, some alley ball, board games etc. On the 4th itself we went to the pool, to a neighbors BBQ and live streamed the DC fireworks. Around 9 I walked Ellie up to the aquatic center where we were able to see a neighboring towns fireworks in the distance, Em was fast asleep after a busy day. 

It Is Out!

Finally, after months of wiggling one of Ellie's top front teeth came out. Fell out chewing gum on the way home from daycare. Now just got to get the other front tooth out which is also loose. 

Home Improvements

On Tuesday we had ceiling fans installed in the upstairs bedrooms. 

Today our new living room rug was delivered.
