Christmas in Aliso Viejo

 

 Christmas morning!

 

 

We had a leisurely morning opening and exploring all the presents. Then the real magic happened as we packed in the afternoon and took a red eye flight to Indiana!!

December

 

Between Chanukah and Christmas December was a busy month.

One of Darcy's friends (and pet dog) from MN spent a few days with us. The girls really enjoyed spending time with Allison and Knox. 

 

The girls and their girl scout troops helped decorate the town center, did a gift exchange and Ellie's troop also did some rock climbing. 

 

 

 

 

 

The girls did gymnastics classes - Here is Ellie working on her beam skills.

And we got a Christmas tree.

Chanukah

 

Chanukah came early this year from November 28 - Dec 6. The girls enjoyed lighting the menorah and the gifts they received.

 

Ellie's 11th Birthday

 

 

Ellie turned 11 this past weekend! She is doing awesome these days, def. a tween, but doing great. Doing well in school and involved in a lot of extracurricular activities (girl scouts, gymnastics, student council, softball, temple). It has been a great year and we can't wait to see what this coming year will hold for her. 

She had an exciting 11th birthday getting her ears pierced and going to Knotts Berry Farm to ride roller coasters with her friends. But first, a trip down memory lane before!

For her birthday this year she worked up the courage to get her ears pieced at Claires and then promptly fainted!! We also took her and a few of her friends, Kelsey and Ashley, to Knotts Berry Farm to ride some roller coasters....they had a blast. Emily brought her friend Kayla. And Jamie came out to spend the Birthday weekend with us - it was a fun weekend!
