Hello from California! Everything went very smooth last week and our flight on Friday was uneventful. We landed around 9:00 pm Pacific time, gathered our bags, picked up the rental and drove down to our apartment. About an hour after we arrived Hobbies was delivered.

| Our first weekend here and nothing but rain. Everywhere we go historic weather seems to occur. A quote from an article I read at the Weather Channel "Many Southern California cities set all-time rainfall records for the month of July due to the unprecedented mid-summer rainfall, which one National Weather Service meteorologist called "super historic.".........At least it wasn't snow! |
On Sunday Emmy, Ellie and I drove down to San Diego to see Jeff, Owen and my Mom. Along the way we stopped at a vista point to look at the ocean.
