And week 9......
Em led the Ponies in a win over the Red Incredibles who beat the Ponies several weeks ago. At least I think they won, I lost track but it seemed like a win. It was probably the most competitive game of the year for the Ponies.
Must be the coaching :).
Em is just amazing out there - totally focused and fearless. They play her back in front of the goal and when the other team gets close she kicks into action and like a fullback busts through the pack and takes it down the field for a goal.
One more game for the Ponies next Saturday.
A tale of two seasons because while the Ponies are dominating the Mayhem continue to struggle. The last regular season game was today against the Surf who are the second ranked team. El played the first quarter at goalie - a few good stops but gave one up. Played the next two quarters at Midfield where she can run all over. The Mayhem lost 1 to 4 and finished the season with 2 wins and 6
losses.
End of the season tournament for Ellie's team starts later this week.
