First Day of School

 

And just like that summer is over and back to school we go! Ellie started 5th grade and Emily started 2nd grade today. Both girls survived their first day and even seemed excited to be going back.  The girls have to wear masks as we are still in the throws of the Covid pandemic but otherwise we are happy to have them in school. 

Ellie will ride the school bus home everyday after school while Emily will ride home Mon, Wed, and Friday. Tues and Thursday Em will take a bus to afterschool care at Zigg.

On Sunday we took the girls out to a "fancy" dinner in Dana Point over looking the marina. We reflected on the summer and our aspirations for the upcoming school year. It was a very enjoyable dinner.
